EnviroSafe Technologies International Limited - based in Auckland, New Zealand - is dedicated to developing the world's most efficient trap for the control and elimination of mosquito populations in a safe manner.

In August 2000, EnviroSafe Technologies unveiled the end product of that development work: the Mega-Catch™ Mosquito Trap.

After extensive testing by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) EnviroSafe Technologies produced the Premier and Ultra models for release into worldwide markets in April 2002.  In 2006, the Alpha trap (MCA-600) was released.  This was followed in 2007 by a refined 800 Series:  Premier (MCP-800) and Ultra (MCU-800). 

In May 2011, the New Generation Mega-Catch™ PRO 900 Series Mosquito Traps were released.   PRO 900 Series Mosquito Traps combine proven performance, ground breaking features plus Mega-Catch's™ patented technology, PRO 900 traps are safer, smarter and eco-friendly.  There are four new and improved models in the line, the PRO 900 Series ULTRA, PREMIER XC, PREMIER AND ALPHA.
